I'm a writer, programmer, and incurable tinkerer.
My partner and I have lived in a small village in the Himalayas in North India since 2013. Moving from one of the most populous capitals in the world to a village without a motorable road, building a house, and learning to farm, has been a constant adventure.
I earned a living from my interest in computers through fortuitous timing and favourable circumstances. I contributed to open source software throughout my career, spent the last twenty years hacking on Postgres, and managed to work on all sorts of things with some remarkable people along the way.
As of 2024, I have retired from my professional engagements, but the remains of my résumé are preserved here as a historical curiosity.
