Rat-trap bond brickwork

We use “rat-trap bond” brickwork, which gives us hollow walls with interlocked sides. This saves on bricks without reducing strength, and the air-gap gives us excellent insulation. The house stays pleasantly cool inside even at heatstroke-inducing temperatures.
